| Types "Volgar", "Ural" and "Ob" |
Description. Motor ships of the types VOLGAR, URAL and OB (projects R-45 and R-45B) are the mid-size line tug-pushers, intended for central and eastern rivers. Pushers for central rivers are equipped with the automated barge-holding device of the O-100T-6 type, for eastern rivers - of the UDR-50 type.
Modifications. Ships of the modified project (project R-45B) have other form of the wheel-house, which provides better view.
Serial building. Ships of the project R-45 were built since 1971 by three shipbuilding plants. Zvenigovo-built ships got a serial name "Volgar", Astrakhan-built ships - serial name "Ural". Krasnoyarsk-built ships were assigned names after the rivers in the USSR. Not less than 80 units were built in all series. Among them: 39 - of the type "Volgar", not less than 35 - of the type "Ural".
Distribution. Pushers of the type "Volgar" were delivered to Volga, Moscow, Belaya and Northern shipping companies. Pushers of the type "Ural" were delivered to Volgotanker, Volga and Kama shipping companies. Ships are operated: on Volga, Kama, Belaya rivers Moscow-Volga canal. Ships of the type "Ob" were delivered to Yenisey Shipping Company for work on Yenisey.
