Ships of Distant Sail
Description. Motor ship ROSSIYA (project
1877) is a mid-size ship, intended for the VIP service. Ship has single and double
cabins, luxury cabins, restaurant - conference hall, saloon, sauna. In 1994 it
was modernized in Finland, when all internal decorations and equipment was renovated
and passenger premises were partly re-planned. Initially the ship belonged to
Moscow shipping company, since 90-ties it is operated by President Administration
of Russian Federation. During operation the motor ship made episodic voyages with
VIPs, as well as served various governmental and other delegations.
