| OT pushers |
Description. OT is a general serial name of the big line tugs-pushers of several different types (projects 428, 428-1, 428-2, R-153, H-3290, H-3291 and others). Ships have widely different power of machines, what determine the difference in their usage. Serial name (OT) means ozernyy tolkach or 'lake pusher'; the serial numeration, as a rule, shows the machine power.
Project 428 (OT-2000). Ships, built mainly for siberian basins. Pushers of the project 428 and its first modification (project 428-1) are equipped with the automated barge-holding device of the UDR-100 type; the variant for european rivers - of the O-200T-6 type. Ships of the second modification (project 428-2) have strengthened rear part of the hull with the possibility of work of several pushers together. The variant for european rivers is equipped with the automated barge-holding device of the O-200T-7 type, for eastern rivers - of the UDR-100-2 type.
Projects H-3290, H-3291 (OT-2400). More modern type of pushers with increased machine power. Project H-3291 is a modification with other form of the wheel-house, which provides better view. The variant for european rivers is equipped with the automated barge-holding device of the O-200T-7 type, for eastern rivers - of the UDR-100K type.
Project R-153 (OT-1500). Ships, built for central basins, intended to replace elderly pushers of the type "Dunayskiy". Ships are equipped with the automated barge-holding device of the O-200T-7 type.
Other series. Serial name OT was also assigned to pushers of the type OT-800 or OTA (project 758), the type OT-1400 or "Arkus" (project 92-049), the type OT-4000 or "Marshal Blyukher" (project 947).
Serial building. Ships of the project 428 and its modifications were built in Hungary since 1967 till 1982. Not less than 120 units were built, among them: 15 units of the initial project, about 60 - of the project 428-1, about 40 - of the project 428-2. Ships of the projects 428 and 428-1 were assigned serial numbers starting from 2001; ships of the project 428-2 - serial numbers from 2101. Ships of the projects H-3290 and H-3291 were built in Hungary since 1982. Not less than 60 units were built, among them 30 - of the initial project. Ships were assigned serial numbers starting from 2401. Ships of the project R-153 were built in the USSR since 1979; up to 17 units were built. Ships were assigned serial numbers starting from 1501; Neva-built ships - odd numbers, Cherepovets-built ships - even numbers.
