Description. Motor ships of the type GEORGIY AGAFONOV are the mid-size ships-refrigerators, vegetable carriers of the "river-sea" class, intended for the Danube navigation. Ships have two cargo holds and are equiped with lifting wheel-house in the rear part. Ships can carry large containers and 200 cars when two removable decks are added.
Serial building. Since 1987 till 1988 10 units of this type were built.
Distribution. Motor ships were delivered to Ukrainian Danube shipping company. They work on Danube from the river's mouth to Budapest (Hungary) and on Black sea.
