Description. Motor ships of the project 92-016 (type VALERIAN KUYBYSHEV, slovakian designation OL400, osobna lod 400, 'passenger ship for 400 persons') are the big passenger ships, intended for work on river cruise routes, the largest ships of this class. Ships have single, double and 3-bed cabins, equipped with WCs, showers and air condition, two restaurants, bar, two saloons, cinema hall with removable roof, souvenir shop. In recent years cabin equipment on some ships was modernized for maintenance of their correspondence to modern standards.
Serial building. Since 1976 till 1983 9 units of the project 92-016 were built.
Distribution. All motor ships of the project 92-016 belong to Volga Shipping Company. They are operated on Volga, rivers and lakes of the Volga-Balt waterway. Ships work on the tourist route Moscow - Saint Petersburg and Volga routes. In internavigational periods ships may be used as floating hotels.
