Goal of this site. The site was created to provide a qualitative and various gallery of photographies of modern russian fleet, to generalise information about different types of ships, to study the steps of their development and modifications, to compile the list of existed and existing ships with their history and renamings. On 17-VII-2005 "Russian River Ships" contained: 4458 photos, descriptions of 89 ship types, 107 technical drawings, 257 stamps, badges and other small things.

Copyright. All materials containing here were collected in cooperation with many people. Usually they may be used in any form for free, however the reference to the site "Russian River Ships" is required. Besides those from own collection many photos and other graphical materials belong to people and companies, which are mentioned as a source. It is necessary to remember the appropriate copyrights when using them, and preliminary agreement on conditions of use is desirable.

Project Infoflot.ru. The site "Russian River Ships" is a part of the information project "Russian river fleet and tourism INFOFLOT.RU". It is the first russian project, which unites the sites about river cargo and passenger fleet of Russia, about river cruise routes and liners, about the history of inland navigation in Russia.
